Mission
To be a responsive group of professional and lay members who work together for the improvement of the health and congregation’s mind, body, and spirit.
Purpose
To provide emergency health intervention and assistance for worshippers during Sunday services.
Requirements
- ::Current license or certification in a health area
- ::An attitude of leadership and servitude
- ::Completion of foundation classes
- ::Good communication skills
- ::Willingness to participate as a team in planning, educating, and implementing programs
- ::Willing to accept responsibility for rotating Sunday duty, maintenance of the emergency bag, leadership and contribution to the overall growth of the ministry
Services
- This group of dedicated nurses provides the following aid:
- ::Assist with medical needs or emergencies during services
- ::Assist with homebound members in extreme cases upon assignment
